Resource Reservations

In order to limit the number of problems we have with the sharing of office resources, the Operations + Technology team would like to remind you of the importance of reserving all of your resources in advance.  Resources include:
  • laptops 1-3
  • projectors 1-3
  • meeting rooms
  • polycom (speaker phone)
  • CRHC display
  • digital cameras
  • sound system
  • etc.
When scheduling a meeting, please make sure you add the room you plan to hold it in to the meeting request, which can be done under "Scheduling Assistant" by clicking "Add rooms..." and selecting either conference room, classroom, or library.  The rest of the resources are portable resources and are all reserved under the "resources" calendar, formly the "laptops" calendar.  After scheduling your meeting, please visit this calendar and create a new calendar item, then list all the resources you will be using for that meeting and would like to reserve.  Make sure you include the laptop or projector number you reserving, if applicable (projectors installed in the ceilings of the classroom and conference room do not need to be reserved if you have already reserved the room).  Some people have expressed that they are having issues using the shared calendars, and that is being looked into. If you are one of these people, please email me with what the exact issue is so I can make sure everything is addressed.

All of these resources are being stored in the locked server room, meaning you will need to ask Jennifer, Amy, Andrea or Sarah to let you in to access them, which will allow us to remind you to reserve the items before taking them.  If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or angry tirades, please feel free to share them.
