Laptop Usage

If you borrow a CRHC laptop, please make sure that you shut it down completely before returning it to its case and putting it in storage.  This will prevent the next person who uses it from being stuck with a completely dead battery.  Simply closing the laptop or pushing the power button once will not turn off the laptop--it will merely tell it to hibernate.  Please click on the Start Menu, and select Shut Down--then follow prompts to ensure the computer is completely off before storing it.  If there are any lights that remain on (i.e. the slowly flashing blue light on the front edge of the keyboard on the two Dell laptops), then you have not been successful in shutting the laptop down, and you should try again.  Let me know if you have any questions or difficulty.  Thanks!
