FSA Plan 2011 Open Enrollment

An FSA plan is a type of benefit plan under Section 125 of the IRS code that allows you to set aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for certain medical and/or dependent care expenses that you and your eligible dependents incur. These expenses are ususally not covered at all or are only partially covered by insurance. The FSA plan allows you to pay for the balance(s) with pre-tax dollars. There are two types of FSAs: Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA.

The 2011 FSA Annual Enrollment is November 1 through December 30, 2010. If anyone is interested in enrolling, please stop in and pickup an enrollment form. Staff currently participating, your annual election(s) from the 2010 plan year will automatically carry over to the 2011 plan year. You need only take action if you are changing your annual election or declining enrollment for the 2011 plan year.

For additional information on this topic, or if you have questions regarding any of the other outstanding benefits offered to employees, please feel free to contact me.

Thanks so much!
