Time-Off Requests in TLO

When you login to TLO (online timesheet) you can request time off by following the instructions below:

1. Navigate to the Time Off Request section.
2. Select the benefit type from the Type drop-down menue.
3. Enter the start date and end date of the requested time off.
4. Enter the start time.
5. Enter the number of hours per day you will use.
6. Enter any necessary notes.
7. Select Include Weekend if you are scheduled to work on that Saturday or Sunday
8. Click Apply.

After you click Apply, the request for time off will be sent to your supervisor for approval.


Request Status

The Request Status section, located in the lower-right corner of the Employee Home page, displays requests you have submitted and the status of each request. The filter by status, select an action filter form the drop-down menu and click Apply.

  • To view details of the request, click the Date.
  • The Status column will be updated as requests are approved or denied.
  • If you need to cancel a request to take time off, click the Delete icon next to the time-off request. You can only delete pending requests. If the request has already been approved or denied, contact your supervisor/administrator to have a manual adjustment made to your time sheet, if necessary.

Note: Dr.'s appointments or other sick leave related appointments can be requested in advance throught the TLO system. However, our standing sick leave policy requires employees to call in or send a email to their supervisor if they are ill and unable to make it in to work.
