Outlook allows you to delay the delivery of emails to give yourself time to fix mistakes. Sort of like gmail's "Mail Goggles", only without the math requirement.
To delay delivery of a single message:
- In the message, on the Options tab, in the More Options group, click Delay Delivery.
- In the window that pops up, under Delivery options, select the "Do not deliver before" check box, and then enter the delivery date and time that you want.
- On the Tools menu, click Rules and Alerts, and then click New Rule.
- Select Start from a Blank Rule > Check messages after sending, then click Next.
- Leave the check boxes blank and click Next (unless you want only some emails to be delayed, in which case select the cases you want to delay delivery for).
- Click Yes on the confirmation box that pops up (only pops up if you select none of the checkboxes).
- Select "defer delivery by a number of minutes".
- Click "a number of" in the bottom part of the window and set how many minutes you want to delay delivery by.
- Click OK, then Next.
- Check any exceptions to this rules that you want.
- Click Next.
- Name the rule.
- Select the Turn on this rule check box.
- Click Finish.
